Owner agrees to pay the rate for services on the date, or prior to the date, the pet is checked into SoBe Happy Dog BnB. SoBe Happy Dog BnB accepts Cash, Check, Debit and Credit Cards for all payments. For all bounced checks, you agree to a $25 returned check fee that is due, including the full amount for services, within 6 days of receiving a notice from SoBe Happy Dog BnB.
Owner understands that SoBe Happy Dog BnB is not responsible for any belongings coming in with their dog(s); SoBe Happy Dog BnB cannot be held liable for chewed, destroyed or lost items in our facility and/or pet sitting in a client’s home. Be aware when bringing items with sentimental value; we cannot guarantee they will be returned in the same condition or at all. SoBe Happy Dog BnB does encourage you to bring your dogs’ bed or blanket so they have a scent from home. We also provide comfortable beds and blankets.
Owner agrees to provide a collar, at their expense. If dog(s) arrive with no collar, SoBe Happy Dog BnB reserves the right to provide said collars and charge the owner the price of the collar plus applicable tax. Owner is responsible for providing above-mentioned collar every time your dog uses any services at SoBe Happy Dog BnB.
SoBe Happy Dog BnB highly recommends that you maintain your dogs’ normal diet by providing your dogs’ own food. This will help in preventing stomach issues while in, and after, our care. If you chose not to provide food, or forget, there is a $3 charge per meal for house dog food (Vegetarian). In the occurrence that you are not able to pick up on schedule, owner agrees to pay additional cost for food administration at time of pick up.
Owner agrees that dog(s) with medical conditions will need to be approved prior to their stay. You know your dog better than anyone and we ask that you assess your dogs’ age and health for there is added stress/anxiety while away from home. There is a $2 charge per meal for oral medication that is placed in meal and/or treat and $4 per meal for injected medication. There is a $5 charge per meal for oral medication administration. Please provide a couple of days extra of medication with clear and easy to follow instructions. In the occurrence that you are not able to pick up on schedule, we will have medication to administer.
Owner further agrees to pay all costs and charges associated with the services provided and any other special services requested, and all veterinary costs for the pet during the time said pet is in the care of SoBe Happy Dog BnB. SoBe Happy Dog BnB requires that the following vaccinations are current: RABIES, BORDETELLA, DHPP and a recent FECAL EXAM with RESULTS. Dogs who are vaccinated may still contract a variety of strains not protected by the vaccination. SoBe Happy Dog BnB is not responsible for any veterinarian bills if this is to occur. Please have your dog checked by a veterinarian regularly. Dogs tend to be more stressed while boarding, and it is not uncommon for underlying health issues to surface that may have gone unnoticed prior. By signing this contract and leaving your pet with SoBe Happy Dog BnB, you, the Owner, certify to the accuracy of all information given about said pet on the pet profile.
Owner specifically represents to SoBe Happy Dog BnB that the pet has not been exposed to Rabies or Distemper within a 30-day period prior to Daycare and Boarding.
Owner further agrees that the pet shall not leave SoBe Happy Dog BnB until all charges are paid.
All dogs must be either spayed/neutered over the age of 9 months. All dogs must be dog and people friendly. We do not tolerate any aggressive dogs. Please be advised that dogs’ behaviors can change in a boarding situation and dominant behaviors can arise. We work with all the dogs to ensure that their stay is safe and enjoyable. If these social requirements are not met, they will be kept separate at an additional charge but will still get their individual walks and attention. Please be aware that your pup may be kept in a crate if there is no room available to accommodate your pet’s needs. You will be updated prior of these needs.
Owner specifically represents that he or she is the sole owner of the pet, free and clear of all liens and encumbrances.
We operate 24 hours, 365 days a year, to provide the best care for your pets and convenience and customer service for you. Because we are a 24-hour operation, we must define our check-in and check-out times – similar to human hotels. Some fees may apply for checking-in early or checking out late, but you have the convenience of check-in/check-out according to your schedule needs.
Early Drop Off / Late Pick Up Fees: There will be an additional fee for drop-offs and pick-ups outside of normal business hours. Please refer to our website for exact pricing, times and days. Owner of SoBe Happy Dog BnB must approve any drop offs and pick ups, and/or your pup must be dropped off the night before or picked up the next day and client will be responsible for payment.
Holiday Fees: There will be a $10.00 fee (per dog) added on to the following major Holiday stay, including but not limited to days on and around, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Days. We do request a 50% deposit for holiday stays to reserve your spot.
Last Minute Reservations: There will be a $10.00 fee (per dog) added on to any and all last minute boarding reservations within 12 hours of arrival date and within 24 hours of any pet sitting services.
Non-refundable/ Cancellations/ No-Shows: Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours of arrival date to receive a full refund. Cancellations within 72 hours of arrival date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of arrival date or “No Shows” unfortunately will not receive a refund.
If pet becomes ill or if the state of the animal’s health otherwise requires professional attention, SoBe Happy Dog BnB, in its sole discretion, may engage the services of a veterinarian or administer medicine or give other requisite attention to the animal, and the expenses, thereof, shall be paid by the owner.
Neither SoBe Happy Dog BnB nor its owners or personnel shall be responsible for any injuries or damages caused by the pet after it has been released from SoBe Happy Dog BnB. Owner hereby agrees to be solely responsible for any and all such acts or behavior of said pet. Owner hereby releases SoBe Happy Dog BnB, its owners and employees from any and all liabilities, whatsoever, due to acts of said pet after release from SoBe Happy Dog BnB. In the event a claim, including lawsuit, be made against SoBe Happy Dog BnB or its owners or personnel for injuries or damages caused by said pet after release from the facility, Owner agrees to indemnify SoBe Happy Dog BnB, its owners and personnel from and all such claims including reasonable cost and attorney fees.
I understand that despite reasonable supervision and precautions, dogs can become ill or be injured by circumstances beyond your control. And I understand that dogs can injure people. As a condition for your accepting my pet to stay at SoBe Happy Dog BnB, I agree to waive any and all claims of damage, loss, personal injury or death, or for injury or death to my pet, and any costs and expenses relating to same (all of the foregoing, “Damages”) which I or any member of my household, family or other individuals affiliated with me may have against SoBe Happy Dog BnB, or its employees, agents, members, customers or any other person, animal or property which you may incur or which may occur or which may be asserted against you resulting from my pet’s presence or activities while in your care or present at your facility or elsewhere (including, without limitation, and Damages resulting from any injury or death which may result if my pet bites or otherwise harms any animal or person).
This policy contains the entire agreement between the parties. All terms and conditions of this policy shall be binding on heirs, administrators, personal representatives and assignees of the pet owner and SoBe Happy Dog BnB.
